China Duty Travel - Day 1

I am now alone in Sanyuan Novotel Beijing, waiting to facetime with my baby. Since I am so bored, I shall blog about my first day of duty travel.

Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to this trip at all, as I am travelling with my boss, and we are here for work, not play, not department/company retreat. Sigh...

Oh well, at least I get to sit First Class for duty travel (btw, this depends on whether there are available seats in First Class), and I am very lucky (or unlucky, as it means less revenue for the company and less bonus) to have enough seats for me, my boss and another Assistant Manager from another department. If there were not enough seats, I will be the 1st to be downgraded.

Some photos of the First Class seat. See how far I am away from the TV screen. The seat is really awesomely big, and if I want to, I can adjust the seat until I am able to lie flat. However, as we were in First Class, the stewardess were overly attentive. I would rather just be left alone to watch my shows on my iPad. They would keep asking if you would want a drink, until I had to put "Do Not Disturb". Haha.

Took a photo of the seat beside me. See how the ang moh on the other seat is able to stretch his leg? There was plenty of leg space.

The First Class Menu. See how many choices there are for the main course. For the light bites, they even serve something created exclusively by Sam Leong. Since it is so atas, of course I must choose the one created by Sam Leong right? Haha.

One of the pages of the list of beverages they serve on board. I tried the mocha and soya milk, both are not bad.

The table setting. Super atas lah! Okay, maybe I am just suaku.

Watching Family Guy while eating my Eggs Benedict with bacon and.... LOBSTER!!

The photo of the snack created by Sam Leong is in my camera and I am lazy to upload it.

Another photo to show the atas-ness of First Class travel. This is printed on the blanket! Okay, I know I am very shallow.

Krisworld has 100+ shows available for selection, but none of them appealed to me. So I watched 康熙来了 on my iPad, while tracking my journey on the screen.

Maybe I am not suited for flights longer than 4 hours. The flight was unbearable! I couldn't sleep event hough I was very tired, because I am constantly stressed about the stewardess coming to ask me if I am fine, and I also don't want to miss meal times. Sua ku must eat all the atas food cos don't know when is my next chance. Also, due to the cloudy weather in China, there was turbulence when we were reaching China. This resulted in me having a headache.

Another 10 days left in China..
