Friday, July 31, 2009 My uncle came to fix the shelve for my table today. Luckily my house had 4 screws, because he did not bring any. Before: My table has alot of gifts from my friends. Hee. 
My table after i cleared everything on it. I have to take the photo from this angle because i want to avoid my sister's messy table. Wahaha!

My Kitty things on my table. =)  Wednesday, July 29, 2009  Tuesday, July 28, 2009 Got some photos of my convocation from darling's camera, which went flat very soon so we had to use my spoilt camera to take the rest of the photos. In the photos you can see the bouquet darling got me, which he says is the nicest compared to the rest... and i agree =)     Hopefully i'll be able to get more pictures from friends. I only have soooo few. =(Went to Ikea with darling to get a shelve and lighting for my table. I like going to Ikea because the idea of furnishing a place, even if it is only my wardrobe or table, excites me! But darling kept finding places to sit and lie down because he was tired.  Monday, July 27, 2009 It's convocation day! Apparently, my camera has some problems, so of all the pictures i have taken, only 4 came out fine. The rest are all missing. Darling didn't wanna spoil my mood so he did not tell me that the camera has problems and continued using it to take photos hoping they come out well, but they did not. =( Bad thing: Most pics are missing Good thing: I have a gd reason to get the camera and hope all the pics i have lost, someone else (friend) has taken the same photo Happy thing: Darling got me a really big bouquet of tulips and he watched the entire convocation ceremony (he sneaked in). It started out as a bad day because we lost our way and i had motion sickness while trying to read the map. When we reached there, it was drizzling so we spent 30mins in shelter. A while later, the sun was so glaring and i got alot of mosquito bites. But our date ended well, with a delicious lunch at Ikea (this is the 1st time i'm eating there), thanks to meixin's recommendation when we were still staying in hall (i rmb she said she likes the meatballs and the princess cake, which is exactly what we had). The best thing we did was taking an afternoon nap, when we got back, in my air-conditioned room. Ahh~     
If not for the wonderful company, it would have been a bad day. Thanks darling, for taking out time to get stung by mosquitoes with me today. Hee. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 Met the most ridiculous man yesterday!  While my mum was driving yesterday, there was this taxi, which right in front of the traffic light to pick up a passenger, as shown in the picture above. The car in front of my mum over took the taxi and went straight but my mum need to make a left turn after the traffic light so she could not over take the taxi (cos it stopped right in front of the traffic light).My mum waited for a while, i admit it was a rather short while, and she honked the taxi in front, FOR A GOOD REASON. The passenger was the female, who had already boarded the taxi and the guy, who apparently is the BF, was still talking to her, kissing her forehead and everything. This is not the part that annoyed me. When the taxi left, the guy looked back at my mum's car and shook his head because my mum honked at the taxi which is blocking her way!! COME ON!! If you still have so much to say, don't flag the taxi 1st lah. AND PLEASE! Don't u know that ANY VEHICLE, probably except for ambulance, fire engines and police cars, should not stop at the traffic light? If u have no money to learn driving, at least obtain some common knowledge can? He's in the wrong and still shake head at other people. 穿西装，打领带，却没有一点基本常识. 请你搞清楚，没有礼貌的人是你. I was so tempted to take a photo of that fat man (yes, he's fat) and post it online, but i shan't be a rude and impolite person, like him. Monday, July 6, 2009  Finished blinging up the clutch wallet i bought yesterday. I did it halfway at darling's office sometime ago and i threw away the epoxy glue because it was leaking. I finally went to buy another pair last week and finished it up. I actually kind of regretted after seeing the finished product but i'll still use it. My current camera is the Casio Exilim camera, which is only 6.0Megapix. Even mobile phones has 8.0 megapix cameras so i think it's time i get a new one. Haha. But i'll save up, if i can get a job soon, to get my own camera. Or, i can ask my mum to get it for me as a bday present, which i think is not too much since she got a camera for my sis for her bday 2 years ago and an ipod last year. If she doesn't wanna get me one, i'll just say it's unfair and she's bias, which i think she really is to a certain extent. Hurmph. Sunday, July 5, 2009    Watched the NDP rehearsal with darling last evening. It has been years since i last watched this kind of performance at the actual place. My favourite events were the marching part, because it's a very grand thing, and the fireworks. When i last watched NDP, it was still held at kallang stadium and they only had fireworks at the end of the performance. Now, they have fireworks here and there throughout the performance. They showed short video clips of Singaporean kids saying what they want to be when they grow up and only little boy said, "When i grow up, i want to be the president of Singapore." Then he pointed at the person and said "Yes!" and everyone started laughing. Haha. Those kids were soooo cute! Who knows in a few years' time, they will grow up to become monsters. Darling came over to surprise me because he had told me that he cannot make it for the show. I was upset for the whole day and i sulked at home to everyone. Haha. He called my sister to tell her that if nobody is going, then he'll go with me and asked my sis and my mum not to tell me. He msged me to ask me out in the evening, but i din see cos i have switched off my phone to avoid him. Haha. When everything came to light, i felt so embarrassed and guilty. Hee. Sorry to everyone who tried to give me a surprise and yet i gave a black face to! Friday, July 3, 2009   As u can see, an accident happened just right below my blk yesterday! I took those pictures from my house. Nobody was hurt but i guess some helpful resident called the ambulance just in case. The driver was a lday and she had kids and an old lady (probably her mum or worse, her mother-in-law!) in her car! Gosh. Luckily they had their seat belts fastened if not i think they would have flown out of the windscreen. My mum said she must have ended up like that because she wanted to avoid another car and i told her that it is NOT POSSIBLE, because of the orientation of the car, she must have delibrately turned 90 degrees to turn into the car park but she missed it. Well, i have to admit that the entrance to my carpark is not very visible because there is an overhead bridge and alot of plants overgrown at the overhead bridge area. I had many times told the taxi driver that the entrance is behind the overhead bridge and they sometimes still go at a very fast speed (becasue they'd rather believe their own eyes so when they dun see the entrance, there is no entrance) and have to slam the brakes when they see the entrance. So being a "concerned" resident, my mum went down to ask the driver how she ended up like that and i was right. Haha. The fire engine had to come too because there was petrol spilled and they had to clean it up. 26 July 2009 Went out with meixin, peijun and libing. Met up for dinner since it has been sometime since i met up with them, esp libing. Glad to see that everyone is still alive and kicking. But everyone is busy with work except for me. I feel so lonely and useless, but i told myself then that i'll be starting work on monday. Haha. Din noe my first job after graduation will end so quickly. Hope my offical 1st job will be better, thou i doubt so. Settlers is much more fun if u go with more people i think. It started with the 4 of us then libing had to leave to go find her 爱郎 and the 3 of us played boring games eversince. But the impt thing is we have met up! Haha. Hope our next meeting will be alot more fun! 
Oh! I met someone from the secondary school who just made a career switch to become a teacher after 1 yr in EY tax dept. She's says it's bad there. Sigh. But i think she regretted the switch after seeing RS. Haha. Anyway, my pt is, there are bound to be problems in all careers, it's just what kind of problems u can handle and accept. I cannot accept this kind of difficulty. |
