Sunday, June 20, 2010 ![]() That's all from my relatively new macbook =) Sunday, June 6, 2010 Baby brought me to Equinox for high tea buffet yesterday because he had a voucher for free high tea for 2. Hee. We had to wait until 3.30pm sharp, according to the receptionist, before we can proceed to the 70th storey for our buffet. Very niao loh. Cannot even go up and enjoy the scenery 1st. I can't say that the food , or the scenery, was fantastic. Hmm.. really cannot think of anything that left an excetionally good impression. Anyways, here are some photos. This is the view from 70 storeys high. Nothing much really. The waiter told us we should go back at night when the scenery will be alot nicer! Ice cream creation no.1 Ice cream creation no.2 DIY fondue. There were alot of strange things at the fondue station, like dried prunes and some other things i couldn't recognise. I only eat stuff thhat i'm familiar with. Saw a monk at the buffet. Even if he was only eating fruits, i mean, to be fair, i didn't see what he ate so i shouldn't jump into conclusion and accuse him of eating meat, but my grandma, who is a devotee, doesn't even eat vegetarian food, meaning vegatables/fruits that doesn't contain garlic and onion, that isn't cooked using her own dedicated pot, that we can't use to cook meat. How can a monk eat anything there? I bet the chef who cooked meat helped prepared the friuits as well, and they don't use dedicated pots, pans, bowls or plates loh. There are no photos of me because 老娘最近胖了两公斤 and 太久没运动了。 所以,不想吓坏大家。Haha. I must lose those 2 kgs and regain my 40kg slim body!! 大家为我加油吧! |
