Monday, January 28, 2008 Went to Bugis for steamboat the the Havoc 07 people on Saturday! We needed 3 tables to fit all of us in. Haha. The girls shared one table and we had 酸辣汤and 药材鸡汤. After a very filling dinner, we went to have dessert despite feeling bloated already. It's the dessert stall that darling had brought me there twice but both times we just stood outside because we already had dinner. Haha. Peer pressure does work.   This is what we took last year after our Havoc steamboat also. We look the same except meixin now has straighter hair. Hee. Before the Havoc steamboat dinner, i went to Chinatown with darling to accompany him shop for CNY goodies. In the end, i was the one who did the shopping. Haha. After that he accompanied me to Bugis to wait for the steamboat dinner and we talked about some sad stuff. Haha. Darling said he really hope that i can be happy always. *sweet* 现在只能走一步看一步了。 Wednesday, January 23, 2008  Bought a polo tee for darling yesterday from the bazaar in school. He took such a long time to buy CNY clothes even though all he wanted as 1 top! Haha. It's either too expensive for him or he doesn't like it. So, when i saw a polo tee which i like yesterday at the bazaar and since it only costs $20, which is cheaper than those polo tees outside, but i don't know if the quality of the material is good, i bought it immediately! I really like the colour combination! Hehe.  This is Laogao. He's my boyfriend in hall. Haha. He's damn nice because when you talk, he listens. When you bully him, he don't bully you back. When you hit him, he won't hit you back, unless Meixin is comtrolling him. Haha. Most importantly... He's Damn Cute!! Monday, January 21, 2008   Darling came over to stay last night. Finally! Haha. His mother did not want him to stay over at my room because she thinks that it' not okay to sleep together if we are not married. Since she thinks that way, i told darling not to come over if not she'll have a bad impression of me, like i'm an indecent girl. She doesn't know that he has been staying over here for the past half year. Haha. Anyway, darling told her that he will be staying over at a friend's room last night so that he could come over. Haha. I have not seen him for quite some time already. I think it's more than 1 week already loh! Haha. Went to find him at the career fair yesterday, went shopping together and came back to hall. I bought a pair of heels, a dress, a pink bra and a pair of shower gloves from body shop. That's all for now. Got to go for dinner. Tuesday, January 15, 2008 I have to...
Sigh. So many boring things to do and i still have to comb blocks to sell CNY goodies later and to go down for cult night. I still have so much things on my mind from yesterday. Sigh. Busy busy busy. The only thing to be happy about is that darling is coming to stay over tomorrow night. Have to go home later after my lesson because we are going to have a family meeting. Finally things got serious enough for a family meeting. Sigh. Why do things always have to turn out bad? Why does men always don't know what and whose the best for them? Who went through the bad times with them before they had became richer? Who helped him took care of his elderly mother when he was out drinking with his friends? When will men grow brains? Okay, maybe i've went too far. Not that i'm saying that all men in this world are bad, only those who are rich and and a little spare cash to spend are. In conclusion, females should be the ones to take care of the financial matters at home. Men should be given allowances. Haha! When men have spare cash, they'll spend it on cigarettes, alcohol and women (plural). Not that all women are good. But as compared to women, there is a higher percentage of men who cannot only have sex with only one woman for the whole of their life. I don't understand why. Men are never satisfied with what they already have, they always want more. Mainly is more money so that they can have more cigarettes, alcohol and WOMEN. I shall not shed a tear in front of him again. Never again. I'm not the weak female he thinks i am. I am STRONG. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 School had started. Had a rather relaxed 1st week of school because most of the classes starts in week 2. But next week will be a busy week for me already. I have to do a presentation next monday and i have to finish my readings before my AA201 classes. And i have a AA201 lesson tomorrow, so why am i blogging instead of doing my readings? Haha. Being lazy as usual. But i'll read it before tomorrow's lesson! I must not slack this semester! I must strive for GPA 4 this sem! Haha. Starting to feel the hectic life of school in only the 1st week. Sigh. Darling went to malaysia on monday night and came back this morning and immediately, he went to work. Poor darling is worse off then me, he don't have a choice and he cannot be like me, take some time off when i want to. Hope he's not feeling more sick than he is before he left for malaysia. Sometime i feel like we have nothing to talk about anymore. When he tells me about his work, i don't understand and most of the time, i just know that he's very tired. As for school stuff, i also don't know what to tell him about, when he's already so tired, i don't think he wants to listen to me talking about school too. Our conversations on the phone seldom last for more than 10 mins. If it does, most of the time we are just holding on to the phone because we have nothing to talk about until darling says he wants to do something else because he doesn't like the slience. Will this situation get better or worse? Sigh. Hope things will turn out well. Thursday, January 3, 2008 Baked a cake today. Wanted to bake a cake and bring it over to darling's house to surprise him. But i started too late because i went to see the doctor and darling's knew that i was baking a cake before i could surprise him. Initially he thought i was making a 'cake' in the toilet. Haha. 太小看我了. I was baking a real cake lah! All for because i wanted to give him a surprise loh. I used Betty Crocker's rerady cake mix. But the cake was still a failure because i added to much water. Haha. I thought 1 cup of water is one full cup of 600ml but it's like 273ml only. So the cake was very soggy but my family said it's edible. Hehe. Anyways, the process of making a cake. Add eggs, water and oil and mix. I'm supposed to use the electric mixer but since i don't have one, i used the manual mixer: my arm and my own strength. 
The baking in process. I don't have an oven at home so i used the microwave oven. But the mircowave oven does not have the correct temperature so i had to settle with a lower temperature. Hehe.
The final product. It's full of wrinkles and undelicious. Sigh.
Wednesday, January 2, 2008 31.12.2007 Last Day of 2007 Went to the new Kallang entertainment centre with darling on that day, but there were alot of shops that were not opened yet and the cinema there only had 4 shows! Gosh. It was rather boring so we took 16 to suntec and we caught a movie at suntec. We watched 'Alvin and the Chipmunks', for me, it's the second time. I still enjoed the movie alot because the chipmunks are just SOOOOO cute! Haha. We caught the movie at 850pm and after the movie, we left town and went to the airport so that we can escape the crowd. Before we watched the movie, we went to Waraku for dinner! Haha. Always wanted to have a meal there but after having their pasta, i can only conclude that, the pasta is not very fantastic. Maybe it's because both me and darling are sick. Darling kept going to the toilet during the meal. Anyway, darling had prawn and chicken gratin (i don't know what is it except that it's full of cheese. Urgh.) and i had beef and mushroom spaghetti. Yum. The person forgot to give us our salad so we asked for it at the end of the meal, then the person replaced it with a soup i think it's because people have their salads before their meals and not after the meals. Hehe. Anyway, i'm happy we got a soup instead because i wanted to drink soup but the soup costs $8.80! Too expensive to order. Darling's Gratin  My Mushroom and Beef Spaghetti We went to walk around after dinner but we didn't have anything to shop for and darling went to the toilet so his dinner was more or less in the toilet already so we went to Xin Wang Hongkong Cafe to have a drink and darling had porridge so that he can take his medicine. After that, we went to watch the movie and we after that, we went to the airport. We sat at Starbucks, for the second time that day, and we had my favourite peppermint mocha for the second time that day. Haha. When the digital clock turned 00:00, some people at the airport shouted Merry Christmas and someone cheered. Haha. But it was still rather quiet. After finishing the peppermint mocha, we went home so that we can catch the last bus. So... yah. That was how we spent our last day of the year. Haha. Even though we didn't do much, i'm still happy that we were able to spend that day together. Hehe.  While we were at the airport, daarling asked me wht are m new year resolutions. Haha. Never thought of them until he asked, so i started to think of what should be my new year resolution at the spot. 1) To attened all class... that are necessary 2) To be more hardworking. I have been very lazy, leaving studying to the very last minute. I should study more and play less! 3) To learn to be more patient. I'm very impatient and i always complain if the service is too slow or the bus takes a long time to come because i just don't like to wait! Haha. Very very impatient. Darling says i'm very scary. 4) To learn to be more soft tempered. So that i don't lose my temper easily and poor darling and my family has to suffer. Hehe. That's about it. Haha. As for number 1, i'm just kidding. I will attend all my lessons this semester! Haha. I will try my very best to wake up for those early classes and sleep earlier so that i have enough sleep. Hehe. Darling's Resolution: To have better time management. |
