I'm now reading "The 5 Love Languages", while waiting for my mum, at the Buddhist Temple.

Just finished the chapter on "Receiving Gifts", which is one of the love languages. I thought that I should blog about a recent gift he got for me, which was a very meaningful one.

A recent event made me feel like my family was bound to fall apart, and lose faith in the possibility of having a good husband, or building my own happy family.

On that day, after a devastating and exasperating call with someone, I met up with him. The first thing he did, was to give me a hug and listened to whatever I had to say. I knew he would be at a loss for words, as there was nothing he could have said, to make me feel better. I was also determined not to let that incident spoil our dating day, which we only have twice a week. So, despite being ultra-upset, I suggested we proceed with our plan to go to orchard.

We spent the remaining time walking around and not mentioning about the upsetting topic again. Nonetheless, whenever there is a quiet moment, I can't help but let the topic surface in my mind. Tired of walking, we sat down at one of the cafes, to rest our tired feet, and have a drink.

After a while, he went to the toilet and came back with this cookie, which said "You're my everything". I was really touched by this small little move, as it came when I really needed some cheering up, and assurance from him.

I'm writing it here because I don't ever want to forget this incident, and how much I'm loved by him. 

I am truly a lucky girl.
