    T.G.I.Friday's @ Somerset

Yesterday, Baby and I finally went to eat at T.G.I.Fridays. It was much anticipated by me because i have heard of so many people going there, and so many going back. However, it was seriously disappointing, from the food, to the service. The only good thing was that there was a street dance competition outside Hereen, which we could see from our seat.

    We ordered 3 courses:-
    Appetizer: Buffalo Chicken sonething
    Soup: French Onion Soup
    Main course: BBQ ribs

    The Appetizer
The word "Buffalo" reminded me of the level 30 buffalo chicken wings my sister had bought from Sunset Grill sometime ago. Naturally, I was expecting ULTRA SPICY, but what we were served was not even the slightest spicy.

Also, the chicken pieces were chicken breast meat, which was ultra dry. What's worse is the the food was not even warm when served and although the skin looks crispy like fried chicken nuggets in the picture, the skin was soggy. I have the feeling that the food was cooked 12 hours ago, heated up in the microwave oven, and served to us. Yuk!
Maybe someone had taken a bite from the chicken, causing the missing piece of skin.
    The Soup
If you know me, you would know that the following dish would turn me off, because I simply hate the smell of cheese. Perhaps it's my bad for expecting the french onion soup to be like the one I had from The French Stall, which had much less cheese.

Baby likes cheese, so he finished all of it, but he was too full for the other dishes after that. The soup was also too salty! It feels like you're drinking a bowl of salt water with onions. If you ever go to T.G.I.F., my advice is to NEVER order this soup.

    Main Course
The fries were special, maybe due to the seasoning they had sprinkled on top. The ribs were better than Cafe Cartel's, but not as good as Applebees' (Baby and I had Applebees the week before). Nothing special though. 吃了就忘了,没有记忆点。We ordered an additional side, because I love broccoli. However, like the soup, it was freaking salty. I think it's due to the sauce the broccoli was dipped in.
Overall verdict: I am rather sure I will not patron it again, unless absolutely necessary. And i constantly feel that the food was too salty, even for someone, like me, who prefers salty food. Also, the staff constantly had black face when serving us. As the table was rather small, there was a need to rearrange the plates when all the food were served (they were served very quickly, which makes me wonder if they food were cooked way beforehand), but instead of rearranging the plates, the waitress just used the plate on her hand, which was the food she was serving us, to push the other plates inwards to make space! Baby and I had to rearrange the plates while she was doing that so that out plates will not fall on the floor. I HATE LOUSY SERVICE.
