Watched the NDP rehearsal with darling last evening. It has been years since i last watched this kind of performance at the actual place. My favourite events were the marching part, because it's a very grand thing, and the fireworks. When i last watched NDP, it was still held at kallang stadium and they only had fireworks at the end of the performance. Now, they have fireworks here and there throughout the performance.

They showed short video clips of Singaporean kids saying what they want to be when they grow up and only little boy said, "When i grow up, i want to be the president of Singapore." Then he pointed at the person and said "Yes!" and everyone started laughing. Haha. Those kids were soooo cute! Who knows in a few years' time, they will grow up to become monsters.

Darling came over to surprise me because he had told me that he cannot make it for the show. I was upset for the whole day and i sulked at home to everyone. Haha. He called my sister to tell her that if nobody is going, then he'll go with me and asked my sis and my mum not to tell me. He msged me to ask me out in the evening, but i din see cos i have switched off my phone to avoid him. Haha. When everything came to light, i felt so embarrassed and guilty. Hee. Sorry to everyone who tried to give me a surprise and yet i gave a black face to!
