    Went to NATAS travel fair with my mum, peijun and meixin on friday.

    Before going down to expo, they came to my house to plan the places we want to go in Taiwan, check out the air tickets prices and plan the dates we wanted to go. The initial plan was to go for free and easy so we wanted to go to the fair to see if the air tickets are cheaper than getting them online. Anyway, we had a big discovery!!

    BUDGET AIRLINE TICKETS ARE NOT NECESSARILY CHEAPER THAN NORMAL FLIGHT TICKETS!!

    So be sure to check out other airline tickets before deciding to go with budget air.

    Anyway, we ended up buying a tour package at the fair because they are going to the places we planned to go, except for 花莲. We extended out stay in 台北 for 2 nights and in 花莲 for 2 nights. So the total we paid was $1468, inclusive of the extended air tickets and the accommodation in 台北 for 2 nights. Since the travel agency said that they do not have accommodation in 花莲, we decided to stay in the 民宿 darling and his friends stayed in during their grad trip, which costs SGD28 per person per night. The place we are going to stay in is called the stone house and since we told them we hope to get to see whales and dolphins, visit the Sun Moon Lake, and the Tarako Gorge, they had tried to help us plan those trips for the 2 nights we are staying there, but of course we have to pay extra for those trips.

    We are leaving on 26 April, which is 6 days after my exams and 4 days after darling's birthday, and coming back on 6 May.

    I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GO!!
    But we have to get pass the dreaded exams 1st.

    Went to darling's friend's chalet yesterday. The chalet was quite nice, think only civil servants can rent it. We had some fun playing the Mad Magazine game with Freddie, Chingyan and Kevin. Hmm. Think that was the most fun part of the day. Haha. Ziyang brought a friend, who is a chef, to cook for us. The food was nice but a little too salty.
