Monday, February 23, 2009 I spent a wonderful weekend again!! Saturday We were supposed to have havoc steamboat dinner at Bugis, Chong Qing, in the evening so I met Meixin to go shopping at Cityhall before the steamboat. After we have bought what we wanted to buy, Zhu En called and said that there is a bomb threat at Bugis. So she asked if we want to have dinner at Suntec instead. Since we do not have to pay for dinner, we agreed to the change of venue. So now, we have even more time to slack around before dinner time. When we reached Suntec, we found that there’s a travel fair by CTC going on there. Hence we went to check it out and out conclusion was to plan out own trip instead of going with a tour group. So people, if you know of any interesting places in Taiwan, please tell me k? Dinner was okay. Not as fantastic as Chong Qing, they do not have our favourite golden mushrooms; nonetheless, we ate until we were all extremely full. After dinner, we went to Settler’s café at SMU for some games and we played a single game for the whole of 2 hours. After that, Shu Long sent us home and darling was still awake, giving Wei Shan tuition, when I reached home at about 1am. Then something that upset me happened. Darling told me that since Wei Shan’s tuition is shifted to Saturday, normally it’s on Sunday, he is going to play soccer tomorrow morning with his friends at AMK. I was so freaking pissed because he didn’t think of wanting to spend time with me, since we spent very little time together for the week, and chose to play soccer with his friends early in the morning when he has been telling me that he hasn’t have enough sleep for a very long time. He apologised and promised to make it up to me next week but I was still very upset because when he has free time, the first thing he though of is not to spend it with me. Especially when he has been so busy and I didn’t even complain once. Sunday So the next day, I decided to go watch him play soccer at AMK so that we can spend more time together. I slept at 3+am and woke up at 730am to do so. I guess I’m just a very nice person. Haha. I sat under the sun despite darling and his friends keep asking me to move to the shade, which is quite a distance away, because I wanted to see them play lah. But I’ve learnt my lesson because I was sunburnt and had a terrible headache, which I still have now, and darling said it’s due to heat exhaustion. It’s feels good to see that darling had a great time playing because whenever we’re together, he’s too tired to be fun. Anyway, darling made up to me, and also because I’m so nice, by cancelling his tuition to go out with me. But 老天不作美 (don’t know if it’s supposed to be this phrase), it rained heavily when we were about to leave darling’s house to go catch a movie at Vivocity. We waited for 1 hour for the rain to subside until it was reasonable to go out. We watched “He’s Just not that into You”, which I did not really enjoy it because I was having a terrible headache at that time, and I was too tired because of the lack of sleep. But it was a 难得的一天 to be able to spend so much of a day with darling so I was still very happy. =) |
