Friday, January 2, 2009 31 December 2008 The day did not go the way I planned it to be. Initially, darling and I planned to go to my family’s BBQ for a while, then we shall leave for Marina Bay to see the fireworks. Instead, we stayed the whole night at Pasir Ris Park playing cards. Sigh. So sad that we missed the fireworks. Anyway, darling was a great help at the BBQ. He helped to set the fire, cook the food and entertain me. Mummy was great at cooking the food!! Normally we cook the chicken wings until it’s abit burnt to make sure that it is cooked but mummy’s wings were cooked but not burnt and superbly juicy!! Slurps! My youngest sister playing away with her handphone while they were starting the fire.  Every passing person stared at our MJ on a carrom board like we're freaks. What elso do you expect us to do at the beach? Especially when we have aunties, uncles and grandma.      This is not a posed photo. My sister took it while i was screening who darling is sending greetings to and who are sending back. Hee. An important job for a responsible GF.  My cousin BBQ-ing after they arrived and we had already eaten enough. Haha.    1 January 2009 Darling stayed over after the BBQ the night before so I went to see him and his secondary school friends play soccer the next morning. Hee. I want to spend more time with darling so I decided to wake up at 730 am and go down to AMK with him. Seeing his friends having a good time playing soccer together makes me happy too! Although they are a bunch of 26 year olds, they sure don’t seem to behave like their age. Haha. Some of his friends can play soccer really well! After soccer, darling’s friend sent us back to darling’s hse and we had lunch there. After lunch, darling helped his father do some spring cleaning while I watch TV alone in the living room. Abit bored but I think darling should really help his father do the chores. Haha.  Took this photo of darling’s toy. He calls it his son and it has a name, 饭饭. Haha. I asked darling why is it wearing formal wear and darling replied, “Because he saw his father wearing formal wear”. Haha. Darling is so childish. |
