Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Sigh... I hate this period of the semester. I calculated the GPA i have to get in order to achieve 2nd lower honours. 2nd lower only leh!! I need to get 4.2!! I really regret not building a good foundation when i was in year 1. I played too hard while everyone was studying. Darling started his new job for about 2 weeks already but he still have not obtained his license to sell. Must take this chance to clarify things for darling. Firstly, darling is a financial advisor, he does not sell any investment products for the sake of selling. He plan your wealth for you, based on your risk profile, your goals, etc. For exampls, if you're single, 20+, he will not ask you to plan for your retirement yet, instead, he will see what are your priorities, like buying a flat, and do out a plan for you. Secondly, of course he will sell insurance policies to you, BUT only if you need one. Lets say if you already have one, he will not ask you to buy one more for from him. Like i've said earlier, he will only tell you what you need, so if you already have an ongoing insurance policy, you can just tell him and he will see what others you lack. If you already have everything, then good for you! Thirdly, darling is a very nice person, so he will not sell based on which company gives him more commission. He wants people to recommend him to the other people so he will not want to harm his reputation by asking you to buy things that you really don't need. So in short, my darling is not a 卖保险的. So people, if you are planning to have a savings plan, of course not with a bank, or you want to see what you lack in your overall investments or insurance, or you need help in wealth planning, can always find me okay?
