Thursday, January 3, 2008 Baked a cake today. Wanted to bake a cake and bring it over to darling's house to surprise him. But i started too late because i went to see the doctor and darling's knew that i was baking a cake before i could surprise him. Initially he thought i was making a 'cake' in the toilet. Haha. 太小看我了. I was baking a real cake lah! All for because i wanted to give him a surprise loh. I used Betty Crocker's rerady cake mix. But the cake was still a failure because i added to much water. Haha. I thought 1 cup of water is one full cup of 600ml but it's like 273ml only. So the cake was very soggy but my family said it's edible. Hehe. Anyways, the process of making a cake. Add eggs, water and oil and mix. I'm supposed to use the electric mixer but since i don't have one, i used the manual mixer: my arm and my own strength.
The baking in process. I don't have an oven at home so i used the microwave oven. But the mircowave oven does not have the correct temperature so i had to settle with a lower temperature. Hehe.
The final product. It's full of wrinkles and undelicious. Sigh. |
