Tuesday, December 4, 2007 2 December 2007 - Standard Chartered Marathon YAY!!! Completed the long awaited 10km with Mei Xin! Hehe. As promised, darling finished his 42.195km and gave me his finisher's tee. Poor him. Although he finished the run in 7 plus hours, he had cramps while he ran and hurt his ankle yet he persevered and completed the full marathon. Mei xin accompanied me to wait for darling's return at the finishing point, under the scorching sun, for 1 plus hours. We both ended up with sun burn. My shoulders hurt so much that i cannot even sleep on my back last night. And it still feels warm one day after the run. Poor innocent meixin. We saw quite a few people from hall at the run. We saw Terry, Chang Yan, Vincent, Alvin Tan and Seng. We went to haven lunch with Marcus, his friend and Qiyang after the run. After the lunch, darling came to my house for a shower and nap before we go for dinner with my family. My father had asked darling and Lirong to join us for dinner the night before and i told darling that i really hope that he can accompany me to go for dinner because my parents had a talk about their marriage the night before and i was afraid of the outcome. That's why even after the tiring 42km, darling went for this dinner with me. Haha. In the end, there was no bad outcome. Everything is fine. Hehe. 3 December 2007 Darling did not go to work today. He stayed at home to rest his poor feet. Haha. I went over to accompany him to the doctor. It's the first time i took bus to his house by myself. Haha. It used to be either taxi, he brings me to his house or i drive there. Stayed at his house for lunch and dinner and watch a dvd together. Darling lent me his aloe vera gel to apply on my poor burnt shoulders. After applying it twice, it's ALOT better already. Hazeline's effect is far from it. Haha. Going for a swim with Judy tomorrow. Going to wear my NEW BIKINI! Hehe. |
